The Care Center Operator — Pet Aftercare role is a full-time, onsite position in Arlington, TX, with a Thursday–Monday schedule from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Pay starts at $15 per hour. Peaceful Pets DFW provides respectful pet aftercare and supports families during the loss of a pet. The operator handles equipment and memorial processes, maintains accurate records, and transports deceased pets to and from homes and veterinary offices. The role contributes to dignified aftercare by treating animals respectfully, creating keepsakes, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and supporting clients with empathy.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment used for respectful handling of deceased animals
• create memorial items and keepsakes
• organize and track animals
• perform routine equipment maintenance
• transport deceased pets
• maintain records and inventory
• answer phones and use management software
• follow safety and lifting procedures
• maintain a clean work area
• interact empathetically with clients.
