The Admissions Specialist — Behavioral Health role is in-person or virtual in Boston, MA, with a stated schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Pay is $24–$26 per hour. Overstory Health operates Partial Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient programs for people with high-acuity mental health needs, with a mission to make compassionate, connected behavioral healthcare more accessible. As a first point of contact, the specialist coordinates referrals and intake, verifies benefits, and supports attendance and front-desk operations. The role helps clients access care through a timely, welcoming admissions experience and accurate administrative support.

What you'll do

• Respond to inbound referrals and inquiries and follow up on outbound calls
• schedule and confirm intake appointments
• manage client data in EHR and RCM portals, including benefit verification and authorizations
• verify insurance and check clients in and out for virtual sessions
• track attendance and follow up with late or no-show clients
• support document preparation, data entry, technical assistance, and community-service connections.

Why this role
