The Full-Time Lead Server, Assisted Living role is onsite in Charleston, SC, at Bishop Gadsden’s James Island community. Pay is $18.60 per hour. The role supports the Assisted Living/Healthcare Culinary Department and service in the Frederick Dining Room. The Lead Server helps ensure productive front-of-house operations by directing and supporting servers while serving residents and guests. The role contributes to a smooth dining experience through service oversight, staff training, sanitation and nutrition practices, and coordination with management and other departments.

What you'll do

• Monitor and direct servers in the Frederick Dining Room
• provide customer service to residents and guests
• ensure sanitation and nutrition practices are followed
• oversee dining room operations and side work
• plan and conduct service meetings
• assist with training new staff
• work with management to address problem areas
• promote teamwork
• adhere to DHEC requirements.
