Music Therapist

The Music Therapist role is onsite in Springfield, WV, in a flexible, community-based setting with travel for sessions. Pay is $45 per hour. Caliber Therapies provides recreational, music, and creative arts therapy to improve quality of life across physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual domains. The therapist uses music, instruments, vocal techniques, and individualized evidence-based interventions to engage and support clients across a range of abilities. The role contributes to client growth and quality of life while working independently as part of a collaborative team.

What you'll do

• Use musicianship, instruments, and vocal techniques in sessions
• engage and motivate clients through evidence-based, individualized interventions
• travel to community-based sessions
• hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program and maintain Board Certification (MT-BC).
