The Café Cashier role is onsite in Chicago, IL, at Good Ambler’s 2 North Riverside location. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. 16 On Center operates live music venues, restaurants, bars, and food halls across Chicago and New York. As the first point of contact for grab-and-go café guests, the cashier supports a welcoming and efficient service experience. The role also helps maintain the retail area, process transactions, monitor inventory, and prepare catering and wholesale orders.

What you'll do

• Greet guests and provide hospitality
• process transactions through the point-of-sale system
• stock and organize shelves, coolers, and displays
• monitor inventory and assist with counts
• maintain the grab-and-go and seating areas
• package and prepare catering and wholesale orders
• assist the bakery team with transactions, closing, and cleaning
• label, rotate, and display products
• answer guest questions
• follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Why this role
