Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is hybrid, with three days in the office in Ashland, MA, and compensation of $100,000–$125,000 per year. KiddeFenwal designs and manufactures fire suppression systems and safety controls intended to protect lives and property. The accountant owns general accounting and global consolidation activities, including ledger management, reconciliations, accruals, and close processes. The role supports accurate, timely financial reporting across international subsidiaries and legal entities.

What you'll do

• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• support month-end and year-end close
• book monthly accruals
• coordinate global month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities
• prepare and review entries, reconciliations, accruals, and spend analyses
• coordinate accounting policies with regional finance teams
• manage intercompany transactions and eliminations
• reconcile global schedules to the trial balance
• review bank reconciliations
• support fixed asset and CIP schedules
• prepare audit schedules and documentation
• analyze financial data
• provide backup support for Staff Accountant duties.

Why this role
