Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician role is onsite at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. Pay is $19.00–$25.00 per hour. The full-time schedule includes shifts from 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays required. The technician reprocesses medical and surgical supplies and equipment used in patient care. Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, tracking, and distributing these items supports safe and reliable hospital procedures.

What you'll do

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and transport equipment, supplies, and instruments. Process reusable patient-care equipment and flexible scopes
• operate sterilizing and decontamination equipment
• prepare, wrap, label, and track packages and trays
• distribute processed supplies
• maintain equipment and work-area cleanliness
• perform quality and performance testing
• and keep sterilization records accurate.
