Substitute School Nurse

What you'll do

• Uphold school health policies for student health, safety, and confidentiality
• maintain confidential health records in compliance with FERPA and HIPAA
• monitor health conditions affecting learning
• follow individual health plans
• monitor infectious and communicable disease concerns and work with public health agencies when necessary
• provide first aid and emergency care
• document accidents, injuries, and illness
• administer medications according to records, district policy, and physician orders
• consult with administrators, parents, and school personnel
• support emergency procedures and student well-being.

Why this role
