Operating Room Registered Nurse

The Operating Room Registered Nurse role is onsite in Littleton, CO, with pay of $45–$55 per hour. The nurse supports outpatient surgical procedures and perioperative care through handoff to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The role plans, delivers, and evaluates perioperative nursing care, primarily as the circulating nurse. It coordinates the surgical team, safeguards the patient, and supports safe, consistent procedures through preparation, intraoperative care, documentation, and handoff.

What you'll do

• Review patient records and resolve discrepancies before procedures
• prepare the operating room and verify equipment and sterility
• assess patient identity, procedure, and site
• lead the surgical safety checklist
• position and protect patients
• maintain sterile technique
• perform and document surgical counts
• track specimens and implants
• administer ordered medications within scope
• assist anesthesia and respond to emergencies
• document care and hand off to PACU
• follow safety standards and support quality activities.

Why this role
