Senior Fund Accountant

What you'll do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP
• oversee NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried-interest or waterfall calculations
• review fund administrator work
• prepare and verify investor reports and regulatory filings
• coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors
• partner with tax advisors on entity returns, K-1s, and related filings
• support investment analysis and modeling
• research and resolve accounting issues
• present ad hoc analyses to senior management
• improve fund accounting and reporting workflows.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, four or more years of total experience, and at least two years of Big 4 audit experience. A CPA license is preferred; experience with investment companies, private funds, or alternative assets is strongly preferred.
