What you'll do

• Reconcile coil identity to production and load coil
• check and record material characteristics
• set up dies, alignment, chutes, conveyors, and press parameters
• thread coil through the leveler or flattener and feed unit
• monitor blanks for compliance
• adjust press setup for quality
• remove scrap
• assist maintenance with troubleshooting or preventive maintenance
• assist the press packager
• communicate quality issues
• maintain press-area housekeeping.
