Supported Employment Specialist

The Supported Employment Specialist role is onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $16 per hour. DRTC supports individuals with developmental disabilities in building job skills, independence, and success in work environments. The specialist provides direct coaching and supervision at community job sites and training settings. The role helps individuals develop vocational and life skills, participate safely in work and community activities, and make progress toward individual goals.

What you'll do

• Provide direct support and job coaching
• teach job tasks, workplace expectations, safety, and communication
• support vocational and life skills
• monitor work quality
• provide positive behavior support and crisis intervention when needed
• assist with personal care when required
• transport individuals in agency vehicles
• maintain records
• support group training and production center activities
• and follow applicable regulatory requirements.
