The Certified Medication Aide (MAC) works onsite in Birmingham, AL, on a full-time 7 a.m.–7 p.m. shift. Compensation is not specified. The aide provides resident care and related nonprofessional nursing services under the direction of the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager. By following care plans, observing and reporting changes, and assisting with daily needs, the role supports residents’ quality of care and well-being.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized care under resident care plans, including grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transfers, and ambulation
• observe and report changes in resident condition
• perform assigned tasks such as vital signs, weights, specimen collection, and applying nonprescription creams
• assist with meals and document consumption
• provide snacks and fluids per protocol
• support skin integrity
• answer call lights
• orient residents and families
• escort residents to appointments and activities.
