Radiologic Technologist - Radiology General. This is an onsite position in Hartford, CT. Compensation is not specified. The Greater Manchester Region serves a population of 300,000 people. Under the direction of a Workflow Coordinator, Manager/Supervisor, and/or Team Leader, this role performs or assists in radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment and technical knowledge of equipment.

What you'll do

• Performs all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols, and guidelines required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Connecticut.
• Exhibits proficiency in conducting routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams.
• Provides proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
• Provides careful critique and assessment over image quality.
• Exhibits accuracy in computer documentation.
• Mentors students in the clinical and ethical aspects of the Radiologic Technologist profession.
• Maintains stock levels and personal protection equipment of assigned stations.
• Exhibits constant awareness of infection control standards.
• Works cooperatively to accomplish a task as a member of the team.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as may be required.

What we're looking for

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing independently in at least two modalities.
