The Director of Nursing (DON) – Adult Neurorehabilitation, Monday–Friday role is onsite in Covington, LA; compensation is not specified. The DON directs nursing care and medical oversight, supports client health and wellness, and coordinates care plans with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The role also supervises nursing staff, supports admissions and discharge planning, and provides staff education to help residential clients pursue rehabilitation goals and greater independence.

What you'll do

• Direct nursing care activities and medical oversight
• assess clients and develop evidence-based care plans
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on rehabilitation goals
• supervise and evaluate LPNs and direct care nursing staff
• oversee medical documentation
• assist with admissions and discharge planning
• participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• teach CMA training and lead staff education.
