What you'll do
- Administer and manage Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physician orders and resident needs
- provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services
- direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards under applicable regulations and company guidelines
- assume responsibility for center operations in the Administrator’s absence
- conduct the nursing process within the scope of the state Nurse Practice Act and Registered Nurse licensure
- coordinate resident care plans
- communicate policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitor implementation
- participate in admissions decisions, with prospective resident visits as applicable
- participate in daily and weekly management team meetings.

Why this role
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice and an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school are required. At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience is required; 5 years in long-term or acute health care is preferred.
