Restoration Contents Cleaner

The Restoration Contents Cleaner role is onsite in Winchester, VA; compensation is not specified. Merit Restorations works to help families recover after property damage from fire, water, storms, and other disasters. The role cleans, deodorizes, and restores customer belongings at the contents processing facility so items can be returned as close as possible to their pre-loss condition. It supports the contents team by checking work quality, maintaining the cleaning area and equipment, and coordinating with colleagues to keep processing moving.

What you'll do

• Clean, deodorize, and restore household and personal items using appropriate methods, tools, and cleaning solutions
• operate specialized cleaning equipment as needed
• assess incoming items and flag items that cannot be fully restored
• inspect completed work and document item condition and daily work
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• perform routine equipment upkeep
• coordinate with the Contents Technician and Lead Contents Project Manager.
