Dental Assistant

What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
• provide chairside support
• monitor patient comfort
• give oral hygiene and postoperative instructions as directed
• take blood pressure
• expose and process dental radiographs
• sterilize instruments and disinfect operatories
• restock supplies
• review health histories and access EMR records
• document care
• maintain equipment and inventory
• assist with impressions and other procedures as instructed.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification or ability to obtain it within two weeks, and California Dental Board-approved infection control, OSHA, and radiation safety certifications. Dental Practice Act/Law and Ethics certification is required or must be obtained within one year.
