What you'll do

• Greet customers
• ring up purchases using the point-of-sale system
• accept cash, credit, EBT, and other payments
• count back change
• maintain a clean, organized, stocked register area
• uphold store policies and health and safety standards
• support opening and closing duties, including facing shelves and restocking supplies
• answer customer questions and direct customers to the appropriate department
• notify supervisors of customer or equipment issues.
