The Cybersecurity Threat Hunter – Top Secret Clearance Required role is onsite in Columbus, OH; compensation is $145,000–$185,000 per year. The threat hunter proactively investigates network, endpoint, and security data to identify malicious activity that may have bypassed existing controls. The role develops intelligence-informed hunts, supports incident response, and works with threat intelligence, forensics, detection, and response teams to improve defensive capabilities.

What you'll do

• Conduct proactive threat hunts
• analyze network traffic, endpoint activity, logs, SIEM data, and IDS/IPS alerts
• develop hunts based on intelligence, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics and techniques
• use MITRE ATT&CK to analyze and document techniques
• investigate advanced threats
• support critical incident response
• identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation
• develop queries, tools, scripts, and automation using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell
• document findings and recommendations
• collaborate with threat intelligence, incident response, digital forensics, and detection teams.
