Transportation Aide

Job overview

The Transportation Aide role is onsite in Winner, SD, serving clients throughout Tripp, Todd, Gregory, and Mellette Counties and potentially traveling between communities and SPBHS locations. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour. Southern Plains Behavioral Health Services provides behavioral health services to the communities it serves. The aide helps clients reach designated locations safely, reliably, and on time, while supporting reception and phone coverage when needed. The role also maintains the agency vehicle and completes required transportation records while protecting client confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Pick up and return clients to their homes or designated locations
• provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation
• communicate with clients about pickup times and transportation needs
• keep the agency vehicle clean and in good condition
• complete mileage logs, vehicle checks, and required paperwork
• maintain client confidentiality and follow agency requirements
• assist with reception and phone coverage when needed.
