What you'll do

• Perform routine patient care under licensed provider direction and established protocols
• perform assigned clerical functions
• prepare and administer medications as ordered
• verify patient identity using two identifiers
• assist with special and minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations
• follow infection-control practices
• perform venipuncture and other laboratory duties
• document patient information and care in the electronic health record while maintaining confidentiality.
