Front Desk Coordinator and Clinic Support Associate

The Front Desk Coordinator and Clinic Support Associate role is onsite in Rockville Centre, NY. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy, massage, and acupuncture services. The associate manages front-desk operations and assists clinicians with patient care to support a welcoming, orderly clinic experience. Duties span patient check-in and scheduling, records and payment processing, therapy assistance, and preparation and upkeep of treatment areas.

What you'll do

• Welcome and check in patients
• answer and direct inquiries
• schedule appointments and support patient flow
• process faxes and enter information in the EMR
• generate reports and reconcile payments
• verify patient and insurance information
• obtain updated prescriptions and plans of care
• assist patients with therapy activities and equipment
• maintain confidentiality
• clean and prepare treatment rooms
• manage supplies inventory
• answer calls from patients, physicians, and hospitals.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. A high school diploma or GED is required; medical-office and customer-service experience are preferred.
