The Electrical Engineer — Automation role is onsite in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. Compensation is $83,000–$135,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. Janicki Industries designs and builds structures, tooling, and systems for aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture industries. The engineer owns electrical design, power distribution, and control systems for custom machines and tooling projects. The work supports production and demanding aerospace programs through design, integration, fabrication, testing, and commissioning, in close collaboration with mechanical, software, and shop-floor teams.

What you'll do

• Improve automation in assembly, machining, and inspection
• plan projects and manage schedules, budgets, scope, and risks
• lead electrical design of UL508A control panels, power distribution, and instrumentation
• create schematics, panel layouts, bills of materials, and ePlan documentation
• design servo and motion-control systems
• integrate cabling, safety systems, and field instrumentation
• support build, debug, factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning
• mentor junior engineers.
