Sales Estimator

Job overview

The Sales Estimator role is onsite in Granite Falls, NC, with work in the office and at job sites. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 per year. The role supports Paul Davis’s residential and commercial emergency restoration services and its mission to provide care to people in need. The estimator develops and presents project estimates, manages client communication, and helps convert restoration opportunities into projects. The role works with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, contractors, and internal teams to provide timely estimates and support customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary client contact during sales and estimation
• communicate project plans, costs, and timelines
• inspect job sites for safety concerns
• create estimates using Xactimate, Symbility, and other industry software
• submit estimates within 24 hours of job completion
• generate and follow up on leads
• conduct sales calls and manage accounts
• attend job kickoffs and scope reviews where applicable
• coordinate with branch personnel and negotiate with adjusters and auditors.

Why this role

The posting requires three or more years of customer-facing sales, restoration-industry, and estimate-writing experience, plus two or more years of construction experience. Xactimate and IICRC certifications are desired but not required with appropriate experience.
