The Associate Attorney — International Trademark Prosecution role is onsite in Washington, DC, with an expected annual compensation range of $225,000–$420,000. The attorney advises on U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and disputes, with emphasis on Latin America and international portfolio management. The role coordinates with foreign counsel, supports client brand protection, and handles prosecution and enforcement matters across jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Advise on global trademark clearance strategy
• manage USPTO prosecution and office action responses
• handle TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings
• coordinate with foreign counsel on filings and disputes
• draft cease-and-desist letters and support infringement actions
• advise on international brand protection
• monitor third-party use of client IP
• manage online platform enforcement and takedown notices
• support trademark litigation and dispute strategy.

Why this role

Five or more years of U.S. and international trademark law experience; Spanish fluency required; admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Latin America trademark strategy experience; food and beverage industry experience strongly preferred.
