What you'll do

• Support manufacturing processes and equipment
• conduct machine capability studies for new equipment
• support changes to machining processes, settings, work instructions, tooling drawings, programs, and specifications
• apply lean and continuous-improvement principles
• assist with program and equipment planning
• adjust 5-axis CNC machines using Fanuc G-Code
• review inspection data and help address out-of-spec conditions
• support maintenance
• provide production technical support, including robot teaching and vision-system program modifications
• design jigs and fixtures using 2D and 3D CAD
• maintain engineering documentation
• present technical information
• provide production support outside normal hours, including weekends, when necessary
• travel within the United States and to Japan as needed.
