What you'll do

• Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and brake systems
• complete complex and major repairs
• interpret scan-tool data, wiring diagrams, and technical information
• test-drive vehicles before and after repairs
• communicate diagnoses and recommendations to service advisors
• document repairs
• follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
