Architect I/II

Job overview

The Architect I/II role is onsite or hybrid in Sacramento, CA. Pay is $90,000–$120,000 per year. The architect joins a collaborative design team and works with senior architects and project managers. The role advances projects from early design through construction administration by producing coordinated technical documents, managing project details, and collaborating with consultants, owners, and contractors. At the Architect II level, the role also leads design discussions and oversees quality assurance and quality control.

What you'll do

• Develop drawings, models, 3D renderings, specifications, and construction documents
• translate design concepts into coordinated documentation
• coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, consultants, vendors, and contractors
• conduct site visits, surveys, meetings, and construction observations
• support construction administration, submittal reviews, RFIs, and contractor coordination
• manage technical resolution, schedules, quality, and documentation
• guide architects-in-training and less experienced team members
• at Architect II level, lead design discussions and oversee QA/QC
• participate in business development as appropriate.
