The Infant Assistant role is onsite in Pittsfield, MA, with stated pay of $15.35–$19.69 per hour. The role helps implement age-appropriate activities and works with caregivers and educators to support infants and families.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily infant care, including feeding, diapering, and hygiene
• support educational activities and playtime that promote developmental milestones
• monitor and document infant progress and behavior and report concerns to the lead caregiver
• collaborate with staff to create a supportive environment for infants and families
• maintain a clean, organized space and ensure materials and equipment are safe and age-appropriate.

Why this role

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with infants or young children in childcare, and minimum age 16. Infant and Toddler Development or Child Development Associate certification and First Aid and CPR are preferred.
