This role operates and monitors extrusion production equipment to manufacture plastic film while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards. It supports production schedules and customer orders through equipment adjustments, quality checks, routine troubleshooting, and coordination with production teammates.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion equipment and up to two qualified production lines
• perform product handling, packaging, inspections, and labeling
• check film thickness, width, clarity, consistency, and specifications
• follow production orders and procedures
• perform setups and changeovers, including die and temperature adjustments
• set up printing press equipment
• troubleshoot routine issues
• perform basic preventive maintenance
• monitor resin conveying systems, blenders, bag machines, and winders
• minimize scrap and downtime
• verify counts, packaging, labels, and production records
• communicate issues
• assist with training new operators
• support Line Attendants and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Why this role
