This role provides direct patient care at a proficient level, monitoring patients to maintain a safe environment and optimize clinical outcomes. The nurse performs pre-procedure assessments, handles critical situations with decisive judgment, and educates patients and families in a technically complex environment.

• Responds to life-threatening situations using nursing standards.
• Provides technical nursing care, evaluates patient learning needs, and delivers education.
• Utilizes critical thinking to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
