What you'll do

• Perform complex welds on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Construct metal components and structures following detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate and maintain advanced welding equipment and plasma cutters.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications and resolve any defects.
• Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining both quality and efficiency.

Experience

Strong TIG (GTAW) welding, especially on stainless steel, 3-5 years experience preferred. Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). Experience with stainless steel fabrication, including heat control and contamination prevention. Proficiency in reading blueprints, weld symbols, and tolerances. Solid fit-up and fabrication skills (measuring, cutting, grinding, assembling). Understanding of weld quality standards and ability to produce consistent, clean welds. Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE. Reliable work ethic with ability to meet production expectations.
