What you'll do

• Inspect, start, operate, steer, and control the paver
• coordinate asphalt delivery with truck drivers
• set up and adjust the screed
• monitor mat thickness, grade, joints, edges, and surface quality
• clean equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance
• assist with traffic control, flagging, surface preparation, and asphalt patching
• report equipment, quality, and safety concerns.
