The counsel owns and develops the company’s patent program, advising product and business teams across the patent lifecycle. The role protects and strategically develops the intellectual property portfolio while supporting product decisions, commercial agreements, and business initiatives in the United States and internationally.

What you'll do

• Prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications
• develop invention disclosures with engineering, product, and business teams
• advise on patentability and risk
• coordinate patent searches, filings, and portfolio strategy
• conduct clearance and freedom-to-operate analyses
• monitor competitor portfolios and emerging technologies
• support disputes, licensing, and enforcement
• and manage outside counsel and foreign associates.
