AHU Fabricator, 2nd Shift in Albany, MO. This is an onsite, full-time position with a pay of $21.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium. Johnson Controls builds custom, high-quality commercial air handling units. This role involves ensuring hardware and components match the Bill of Materials, installing components securely, and preparing products for painting and shipping. Responsibilities include identifying proper parts, using various hand tools, and operating bridge cranes.

What you'll do

• Ensures hardware and components match Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Installs components securely and ensures proper fit and alignment according to the Spec Sheet.
• Prepares product to be painted and shipped.
• Installs hardware and custom parts into assembly per specification for HVAC Units.
• Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheets and blueprints.
• Utilizes rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding, and other hand tools to perform duties.
• Operates bridge crane or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Performs preventative maintenance and makes minor machine repairs as needed.
• Responsible for adhering to a production schedule, ensuring all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and secured, and ensuring safety standards are always met.
