What you'll do

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
• reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
• investigate variances and unusual transactions
• support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• prepare audit schedules and documentation
• analyze financial data for management
• ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP
• review expense coding
• support accounts payable, vendor management, invoice review, and payment approvals
• assist with 1099 reporting, W-9 collection, unclaimed property, and tax reporting
• maintain internal controls and support process improvements.
