What you'll do

• Lead and develop the purchasing team
• set purchasing priorities and align deliveries with production and inventory objectives
• manage open and past-due purchase orders and supplier commitments
• monitor supplier performance
• negotiate pricing and commercial terms
• identify cost reductions and alternate sourcing
• maintain purchasing data in the ERP system
• establish purchasing procedures
• monitor KPIs and report to Supply Chain management
• expedite critical materials
• coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Accounting
• support inventory optimization, supplier qualification, ISO 9001 documentation, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
