Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant works onsite in St. Petersburg, FL, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; the posting lists pay of $24 per hour. What you'll do

• Greet, check in, and room patients
• obtain and document vital signs
• perform venipuncture and blood draws
• schedule appointments and assist with calls and inquiries
• maintain patient information in Athena EMR
• assist providers with examinations and procedures
• perform EKGs and point-of-care testing when applicable
• maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• protect confidentiality and follow infection-control practices.
