Laundry Aide

What you'll do

• Sort laundry, linens, and garments
• operate washers and dryers
• fold, count, hang, and distribute clean items
• clean and disinfect laundry rooms and equipment
• dispose of waste according to sanitation procedures
• keep work areas hazard-free
• coordinate laundry services with nursing staff as needed
• use protective equipment and follow infection-control protocols
• report malfunctions, hazards, supply needs, and incidents
• protect resident confidentiality and belongings.
