Inventory Technician, Measurement Systems Engineering Labs

The Inventory Technician role is onsite in Painted Post, NY, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; compensation is $24.00–$24.82 per hour. The role supports the Measurement Systems Engineering department’s five Sullivan Park labs. The technician organizes and maintains lab equipment and spaces, records inventory in a management system, and supports labeling, scanning, and AI-enabled methods. This work helps engineers access critical parts and maintain an orderly, safe laboratory environment.

What you'll do

• Sort, organize, inventory, clean, and manage lab equipment and spaces
• enter equipment data into inventory software
• document equipment specifications
• inspect lab spaces for safety and general issues
• research, order, and set up laboratory equipment
• support development of AI-enabled equipment-finding methods.
