The CNC Machinist III – First Shift role is onsite in Mukilteo, Washington, on a Monday–Thursday 4x10 schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $33–$42 per hour. The role supports Karman Space & Defense’s Tactical Missiles and Integrated Defense Systems business, which develops integrated missile and defense systems for missions across air, land, and sea. The machinist independently sets up and operates CNC machines to produce precision components that meet engineering and quality requirements. Maintaining tooling readiness, resolving machining issues, and sustaining part quality help keep production goals on track.

What you'll do

• Independently set up and operate CNC machines
• interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and STEP files
• verify part accuracy with precision measurement tools
• ensure parts meet dimensional, quality, and engineering specifications
• troubleshoot machining and dimensional issues
• perform deburring and material loading and unloading
• maintain tooling, equipment, and a clean work area
• support packaging and final preparation of parts
• sustain productivity and quality.

Why this role

Schedule is 4x10, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM. U.S. person status is required under U.S. export control laws. CMS or large 5-axis gantry machine experience and Fanuc controls familiarity are preferred.
