Furnace Operator – 3rd Shift

The Furnace Operator – 3rd Shift role is onsite at ThermTech locations in Waukesha and New Berlin, Wisconsin. Pay is $22.60–$38.42 per hour, including the 13% shift differential. ThermTech provides heat-treating services for customer parts. The operator follows production instructions, adjusts furnace controls, tests and inspects parts, and records process and quality information. The work supports customer requirements by maintaining equipment, identifying nonconformities, and completing production and quality checks.

What you'll do

• Read production schedules and work orders
• record operation start and end times
• adjust furnace controls using instruments and gauges
• test parts for hardness
• verify products against customer requirements and document nonconformities
• organize tooling
• perform quality checks
• enter part data in Bluestreak
• notify maintenance staff about equipment issues
• package parts
• instruct new workers
• maintain furnace equipment as needed.
