What you'll do

• Address study participants’ medical needs and concerns with the research team
• compile, review, and assess clinical data
• assist with clinical and surgical procedures
• take vital signs, place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and administer protocol-directed infusions
• prepare IV pumps, tubing, and medications
• review study design and eligibility criteria
• verify source documentation
• explain study requirements and consent and follow-up procedures
• report abnormal laboratory values and changes in participant condition
• dispense and administer medications and treatments as directed.
