The NDT Quality Technician II is an onsite position based in Sweet Home, OR. The salary range is $85,000 - $120,000 per year. This role supports the quality department at Pacific Cast Technologies, a world-class aerospace supplier. The role exists to provide technical support for the transition from film to digital radiography. The technician will develop work instructions, perform audits, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in the NDT department.
What you'll do
- Write, develop and publish work instructions for all processes within the department that satisfy the requirements of the customer.
- Perform audits of the NDT operations group under guidance of NDT Level III.
- Perform initial investigation of customer complaints.
- Research and compile data for continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
- Develop standards for preventive maintenance of NDT equipment.
