Probate Paralegal

The Probate Paralegal role is onsite in Venice, FL. Compensation is $50,000–$60,000 per year. Ledbetter Cowan Law Group serves clients throughout Florida in estate planning, probate, and real estate. Working with attorneys and clients throughout estate administration, the paralegal prepares and organizes case materials, tracks deadlines, and follows up on outstanding items. This work helps move probate matters from opening through completion and supports clients through the process.

What you'll do

• Assist with probate and estate administration matters from opening through completion
• prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court filings under attorney supervision
• gather and organize client, asset, and case information
• assist with documenting estate assets and liabilities
• track court deadlines, filings, notices, and outstanding items
• assist with asset transfers and distributions
• communicate with clients, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, and other professionals
• maintain organized electronic case files
• coordinate with attorneys and legal team members.
