Extraction Production Associate — Night Shift

The Extraction Production Associate — Night Shift role is onsite in Roxboro, NC. Pay is $22 per hour. Open Book Extracts manufactures plant-based cannabinoid products and describes its operation as cGMP-certified. The associate supports daily extraction-lab operations and production by handling plant material, operating and maintaining equipment, following standard procedures, and documenting batches. The role contributes to safe, compliant, consistent production and quality control of finished products.

What you'll do

• Receive, handle, and prepare harvested flower material
• perform extraction and related processes according to standard operating procedures
• clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• track hemp products from biomass to ingredient production
• conduct quality-control testing and documentation
• create batch records and labels
• weigh, package, and label products and track batch, lot, and expiration information
• diagnose equipment failures and perform preventive maintenance
• set up, operate, and maintain extraction and refinement equipment.
