Cloud Security Engineer

The Cloud Security Engineer role is hybrid in Denver, CO. Base salary is $125,000–$175,000 per year, and the role is eligible for a 10% target annual bonus. Cleerly develops AI-driven precision diagnostic solutions intended to help prevent heart attacks. As part of the Security team, the engineer designs and maintains secure cloud architecture and embeds security controls into cloud infrastructure and development workflows. The role supports continuous security monitoring, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and incident response across the company’s cloud ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain secure cloud architecture
• implement infrastructure-as-code security controls and automated compliance scanning
• monitor cloud threats and misconfigurations
• triage cloud security alerts and conduct forensic investigations
• integrate security monitoring and vulnerability testing into CI/CD
• coordinate vulnerability remediation
• audit controls for HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC compliance
• participate in incident response
• advise software engineering teams on secure design.
