What you'll do

• Plan and provide preschool instruction for children with disabilities
• create a structured and safe classroom program
• assess students and develop and update IEP goals
• adapt curriculum and lesson plans
• coordinate with classroom staff, therapists, psychologists, families, and school districts
• maintain records
• and supervise assigned classroom aides and assistants.

Why this role

Full-time, school-year position of 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., including a six-week summer program. Evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Requires a bachelor’s degree in education and New York State certification for Students with Disabilities, Birth–Grade 2.
