Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician works onsite in Houston, TX. Pay is $22 per hour. The role maintains assigned equipment and facilities for The Chefs’ Warehouse. Through preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and repairs, the technician helps keep equipment operating properly and supports facility safety and compliance. The role also processes work requests, maintains records and supplies, and responds to emergencies affecting employee or facility safety.

What you'll do

• Perform routine inspections, basic installations, and minor repairs
• handle general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, light plumbing, light bulbs, and minor electrical-device repairs
• maintain work orders and reports
• process work requests
• order parts through the electronic system
• maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory
• follow safety requirements and regulations
• respond to emergencies and report safety issues.
